How do I get over 16 years

I've been in extremely dysfunctional relationship for 16 years. well I guess I should say I was in since he left 2 weeks ago and moved into a new home with another woman. I guess that he had been seeing her for at least 6 months and this isn't the 1st time he's cheated with her. We have two kids together and I don't want her around them. Yes I am bitter I also think that she clearly doesn't have my children's best interest at heart because if she had she wouldn't have started an affair with anyone that still lived with their family. This is such a long complicated story but without going into all the details he has done so many awful humiliating degrading disrespectful things to me. The state I live in is experiencing the craziest increase in housing I've ever seen I used to own a house that I made the mortgage payments on Faithfully 4 12 years while he was supposed to pay the miscellaneous bills including the HOA fees anyway I didn't realize that he wasn't paying the HOA and in the end my house got foreclosed on so I had to move into a rental which was more rent in my mortgage so that was a difficult adjustment but after 3 years now the owner of the house would like to sell it because she wants to profit from the housing situation which I completely understand except that now I'm left with nowhere to go I can't afford even the smallest apartment right now with the rent has increased. All these years that I supported our family while he did what he needed to do to better his ability to support our family I did it because it was what I thought was the right thing to do for our family in the long run. Only now he has positioned himself to really make life so difficult and impossible to live I'll have no choice but to give him custody of the kids because I will be homeless in a few weeks and he has no problem with that. He just told me that the faster I moved on the better the situation would be and I'm sure he's right because that would make life even easier for him if I just allowed him to do whatever he wants without complaining. But he just threw me away like garbage and I don't know how to move on from that. He and my kids the only family I have I didn't just abandon me like everybody else in my life. He bribes my kids and I'm really starting to think that maybe they would be better off with him I don't even know how to be a good mom anymore because I'm so unhappy

@jdstarr72,

Sue him for every penny you can. That won't resolve the situation but might help u financially. Look for help groups online to help you.

Take care.

@jdstarr72,

PS, if u happen to life in California, you might want to consider to sue him for abuse. I was in a difficult situation, and lawyers told me that your female partner can sue you for abuse, no proof needed, and as a male u will always lose, whether abuse actually happened or not.
