How do I keep going?
My girlfriend of two years broke up with me about a month and a half ago, and I'm still struggling.
We met up yesterday and I said my final goodbyes to her, in hopes that maybe I can get some closure for myself. I feel it did give me some closure, but at the same time, I feel like dying. My life with her was my future and surprisingly the best thing that ever happened to me. How do you move on from something that was that important and special in your life? How are you supposed to go on with life when you feel you've spent the whole thing with that one person who made the difference? After planning and dedicating your future to be with that person for the rest of your lives, and then suddenly just losing that future...how do you continue and move on after that?
I'm trying, so hard, to keep pushing forward and do things for myself. But this depression is a whole new thing for me and I don't know how to cope with it constantly like this. I feel so lost

When you break up with someone you imagined all of your life with it's really the memories of it that you miss. The person you loved is gone, if they were still here you'd be with them. I know it's hard, it's supposed to be. It's hard because it meant something and that's a good thing. To be able to give someone that much is a great thing but then if they weren't the right person, it's okay. It's better to be alone than be with someone who aren't destined to end up with.
