How to break up with someone?

well I've been thinking about this for a while and decided i wany to break up with the woman im seeing, but not sure how to do it as I've never broken up with someone. i want to do it over the phone reason is because she lives an hour away from me by and dont want her driving an hour just for that. am i an asshole for wanting to do it like that?

@kitkat34567 but is it alright to do it through the phone? if she lived closer things would be different but she doesnt and id dont want to make her waste a drive for this :(
