How to let go?

I’ve been in a relationship for +5years and I think it’s time to let go but every time I think about it I cry myself out, my heart and stomach ache but we’ve been doing terribly. We haven’t had a single week where we don’t argue or fight since February. I’m just tired of feeling.

@NatalieBunch

there are bunch of things you must do like

like have you already ended the relationship?

what is the main reason for breaking up cause fights exist in every relation ?

do you want him to quit fighting ? or do you want to move over him?

No I haven’t because part of me doesn’t want to give up on all of the dreams we used to have. However, the other part of me wants to stop suffering and leave.

the main reasons are that he stopped caring, he stopped prioritizing the relationship and me, he cares more about others than he does for me along other things. So we’ve argued about that, I’ve tried communicating my feelings but he just ignores them.

I wish I had the strength to be able to put myself first and move from something that’s making me mentally and physically ill.

That’s a tough one. I am going through the same situation. I am 30 years old and up to when I was 28 I had never had an actual relationship, a lasting one(longest one was a month) or one that I cared about. I’ve learned how to cry now I’ve learned what love is and but unfortunately we are at that point where it’s constant arguing, very little happiness if any, I’ve also been going through depression since before that started and still up to this point, so that makes it even worse for myself I sometimes sit and think about what is the best and smartest thing to do and for the first time ever in my life, these emotions and feelings just come out by themselves and honestly like you said my heart and stomach ache and I feel like I shut down by just thinking of letting go. We have to find the courage and confidence to just decide and put it in our mind and choose our self and know that we are doing it looking out for our self our feelings or emotions our health and although it’s definitely going to hurt we will be all right and we will live and we will have more opportunities to live our life to do whatever makes us happy and to find love or maybe not find love this time love will find us

@NatalieBunch

Also in a long term situation, and I'm 39 (male). If you want to talk about this, maybe we can both learn and grow, possibly get something out of this... I feel it's worth a shot!
