I found out my husband lied about a previous marriage and was also married when we got married and the divorce wasn’t final until we’d been married a while. I want to confront him and leave but idk how he’s gonna react. I don’t have anywhere to go but I can’t live like this

When you say you don't know how he will react, what exactly are you worried about? Are you afraid of him? If you are in any sort of physical danger from him please do not confront him alone. Your safety is a priority and it would be wise to remove yourself from the danger before figuring out next steps.

If you have no family or trusted friends who can offer immediate shelter/support, please reach out (safely) to your local authorities for advice and suggestions towards next steps.

@0m

Im not sure how he would react. I’m afraid he could get violent. I was able to reach out to a family member and waiting for them to get to me to remove myself and upon removing myself will confront when I have someone else as well as an officer present. I don’t think I’m in danger as long as I can play the game a little bit longer.

Try to stay clear minded and avoid any confrontation unless you are sure he wouldn't touch you, but if there is a history than I suggest you confront after you have a safe hiding place he wouldn't think of. If he has never touched you, than I would confront with a friend there but your safety is the only concern that's important. in a flash if you called a hotline and asked for a safe stay house they would put you up and take care of you with counselors and other helpful tips and law related help.

@juliak1968

thank you. Yeah I’m definitely confronting with witnesses. I won’t be leaving with out an officer present to keep peace. This man has made me loose everything I’d ever worked for and I’m gonna be starting completely over but it’s worth it for my own safety, self respect and dignity.

What is Narcissistic Abuse? The term describes a type of emotional abuse that comes from a person with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD). People with NPD have low empathy and see others as beneath them, which can lead to harmful, toxic, abusive behaviors.

You might want to look into narcissistic abuse. It's just a hunch

Sending strength! Have you made a plan B yest?
