I don't know how to let go

My husband and I are separated, pending a divorce. We've both moved on, but he's been lying to his girlfriend about why we broke up. He cheated, but he's telling her it's because I mentally and physically abused him. If anyone was abused, it was me. Financial abuse, emotional, mental, sometimes it got physical. By him, his family, and his friends. I just can't get over the fact that he cheated, and it bothers me that he's with somebody else. I don't know why, but it does. It's no new news to me that he's a liar, he's been turning things around on me for the longest time. But to scream abuse because I got fed up and left?
