I am a woman with 3 children-- we moved in with my fiancé 2 years ago. I left my friends and family for this man so we could start a life together. We live next door to his parents. His mother is a very hateful vindictive person and my fiancé does not stand up for me. My only friends are connected to my fiancé or his family. I feel so alone. My feelings are dismissed, I am expected to be someone I am not. He expects perfection at all times. I recently had a serious injury and cannot work. Finacé and his family blame me for this and regularly make comments about how I'm faking it or they don't believe me. I was the only person In the home working for a year but now that I cannot work I'm a mooch and treated like dirt. My fiancé is always moody and I have to walk on egg shells around him. Anything can set him off and he is mean. He doesn't become physical but I cannot talk to him. If i have anything other than good news for him he gets pissed off. Even when it is not my fault. I am blamed for everything. The kids mostly like it here but I feel like I'm dying. I hate my life. I have lost myself. And I literally gave up almost verything to be here. And now I'm hurt, broke, depressed and lost. I drained all my savings to help my fiancé out. But now he's angry I don't have more money. How am I supposed to magically get more. I want to leave but I don't know how. I feel like my reasons aren't good enough. I'm tired of this life.

@Bubbleberry888 If you're in a situation where you feel that you can't be yourself, that's reason enough to leave. I know that it can be difficult or scary, especially when you feel alone and unsupported, but you deserve to be happy. I will always recommend trying to talk things out first, but if your fiance refuses to hear you and you don't feel comfortable with him, then that suggestion probably wouldn't work very well. Relationships are a lot of work sometimes, but you shouldn't be the only one putting in that effort. You shouldn't have to walk on eggshells with someone who is supposed to love you.

@Bubbleberry888 I have so sorry to hear what you are going through. It must be very frustrating to change your life for someone, and feel like the way you do. If you feel like you can't be around the person, you need to search within yourself and find out what you truly want. You can't put all of this stress yourself. However, I know that is easier said than done. If you feel like talking please look at my profile and chat sometime. Hugs!

@Bubbleberry888 I am in a similar situation as you, except I married the jerk. I know how you feel. You have lost your identity just to please the bastard and everything he does is right, perfect, and The Best. It's a struggle to do things that you want to do, but you have to jump at his beck and call! You are afraid to truly be yourself b/c he is already a critical person, so who knows what he will say about the real you? I know exactly how it feels. I walk on eggshells around my husband on a daily basis. It's like a war zone. I have to watch what I say all the time b/c I don't want to fight. He knows everything and I am just the dumb wife. Yea it sucks. I cannot say what to do b/c I am still married to my jerk of a husband. I want to leave honestly, but I have nowhere to go. Does he give you money? My husband and I have our own auto shop and he takes care of the money, so I have a set "reward" every week. lol Sick, right? If you slowly save up enough money, you can go rent a place, but first make sure you have a job. I hope you figure out something b/c guys like this don't deserve shit.
