I feel so lost
I am going through a divorce from the girl I thought I love forever. I have been out of the house for 7 months, and I found out last weekend she has already introduced my children to her new boyfriend... it killing me, and have been in a terrible dark place in the last few days...
i don't know what to do anymore
@Jag1jag1
That's horrible so sorry to hear that can't imagine what your thinking and feeling and going through your children will always love you and call you dad just because there mother introduced them to another guy doesn't mean anything they won't think less of you they will still see you talk to you and call you dad is the house under your name as well if so she can't kick you out cause you own half the house to and you have also a right to live there as Much as she dose I hope things will look up for you soon
@BrightRedFlower2322
thank you for your reply.
i committed the last 12 years to her and in the process I alienated friends and family...just don't know what to do and I have some really dark thoughts which scare me.
i actually left the house willingly because our arguments were starting to affect my children.
i just don't understand how a person can stop loving you like that, replace you so quickly. I feel like a disposable bottle.
she has given me both my happiest moments, and my most terrible sadness....
@Jag1jag1 I know EXACTELY how you feel...I, too, feel like a disposable bottle. I was left, literally left, abandoned, by the person I thought was the best in the world. He found someone younger, and in 3 months he stopped caring for the boys and I, his family for 10 years. For the past six years my boys and I carry the last name ABANDONED...and it hurts...so much...to see the depression in my older son's eyes, in mine when I have the courage to look in the mirror and yell at myself and call me names and want to hurt myself...I hurt myself everyday, emotionally and phisically. I dont see the boys and I coming out of this. It's been six years. The pain never goes away. I know our situations are different, but I understand the feeling of being left aside as if we were never loved. ):
@Jag1jag1
Your welcome :)
Oh wow that's not good so you two can't have an adult conversation without arguments stirring up and what children see there brains are like a sponge they soak in what they hear and see and sometimes they think that's okay cause they see there parents doing it that's good you left the house as soon as you could children are more affected in relationships then the adults but half the time adults don't realize that till its to late I really hope you have somewhere to go till she calms down and you can have a normal chat to her she needs to stop and talk normal to you for the children's sake I really hope you can get your family back for support and remember your children love you I guess things happen and people slowly fall away from there partner slowly distances away sometimes people can get caught up in the moment too then later on start to feel less and less for that person years to come it could be anything going through her mind don't know just hope you'll be okay
@BrightRedFlower2322
she avoids the conversations until it's too much and she blows up, not in a mean way but she does.
I really thought we would grow old together, and I truly loved her deeply, and that was enough for me...just wasn't for her
@Jag1jag1
Well my fiancée and I nearly broke up last night so sorry if I'm not really helpful at times but I'll try my best and be here for you cause yours is more serious
She can't ignore the questions forever doesn't work like that giving them space and time to think about there actions then talk to them that works but what she's doing is wrong she's changing the subject type thing and getting angry over nothing when two adults can sit down and talk like adults about this she's the one that has dose this to your family not you so why is she stalling the questions for what hoping you will accept what happened and go away you need answers she's got them but won't spill them as to why she done this to you for how can someone love you and move on that quickly I'll tell you those people who don't have feelings anymore towards there partner to her it seems its easy to move on then talk to you and work things out or come up with agreement's so to her having another guy in the house seems easy enough which is wrong you leave she's alone and what ever pops into her head finds a guy and he's there you were happy with what you got and had seems she wasn't she needs to grow up and talk to you talk things out with you she's an adult for f sakes she can talk but chooses not to
