I have been married for 13 years vowing to be the best mother and wife I could be. Everything used to be great and then he did major damage. I can't trust him anymore and I no longer feel safe and secure. I honestly feel he no longer even genuinely likes me as a person. Now I'm just so lost. Do I stay? Do I start over? Do i fight for my marriage? I'm emotionally exhausted

@exhaustedthorne1124 I'm kidn of in a similar situation. married 19 years, and we have had our ups and downs, and now she "needs a break." Major trust issues because she lied to me for several years instead of letting me be part of solving our problems. I want to trust her, and I'm trying, but then she hits me with the "break" thing.

All I can say from my personal experience with this is don't lose yourself. Get some help. When you are whole, things will be more clear as far as what direction you should go.

@derangedlunatech If he said he needed a break that would be clear as day that I need to get the hell out. I just really wanted to idk make it work. I'm just not happy anymore and it doesn't seem like he even cares. If he's emotionally out I wish he could be man enough to just say it. Instead it's like you want this.. or you want to go then go crap

@exhaustedthorne1124 Sadly I think that is where my wife is with me. And in the process of trying to make things work she lost herself. Now she says that she needs a break to figure out who she is and what she wants, and she doesn't know if that will be me/us.

I guess my "advice" for what it is worth is combining both sides of our experience.
