I screwed up

We've been married for 7 years now. And for the last few years I have been a lousy husband. I didn't realize that I have been pushing my wife away by not being the romantic husband I should have been. I've also been oblivious to the fact that shes been trying to pull me in and be the husband she deserves. However, I didn't take the hints. Then a few weeks ago, I woke up to the fact that she is not acting the same around me anymore. I finally ask her why and she says she's given up. I felt like I was just run over by a truck. I realized what I've been doing by not doing. But now it seems like it's too late. To a point where she sleeps on the couch now.

We don't hate each other. We have normal conversations like the friends we were years before we were married. So now I'm in the friend zone. I feel so alone now. I suggested we do couples therapy and she's willing to try that, but isn't hopeful. Then Covid19 kicks in and we get put into the stay home status in PA. I feel that the longer this status goes on, the higher the wall she puts up.

I don't want to give up, but I think she may be there already...

@lovelyWhisper66 coping? I'm not really coping well at all. I can't sleep at night. I just keep thinking about what my stupidity did to our relationship and how she has put up a wall around her as defense now. Im sure my 17yo has a clue that something is not right. My youngest doesn't understand why Mom is sleeping in the spare bedroom. So, coping? Ha. Right. I just want to fix it now and I know I can't do it "now".
