Just told Husband I filed for a divorce

Hello everyone. I'm new to 7 cups. I've been married for almost 19 years. I just filed for a divorce, and told my husband today. He'll be getting served the papers soon. The last several years of our marriage have not been great. But in July I found out he was having (maybe still is I don't really know) an online affair/emotional affair. And ever since July he has lied to me about it, even when I have confronted him knowing facts, he still lied. Anyway, I've been suspicious of something going on for over a year. I finally got proof, without even looking. My sister in law found a social media profile of his, which he was not on previously. And his only friends were 4 women from a foreign country. When I asked him about it he said he was just goofing around. He kept saying he isn't doing anything wrong. Then that same day he bought an international calling card (I found the receipt later in the week). He denied that too! The receipt was right there next to him! He finally admitted that he joined a dating website and was messaging a woman for about 2 months, and she stopped replying to him. So he bought the calling card to try to call her. I have found out so much from July 4th through the end of August, it's unbelievable. And I still don't know the truth. Anyway, we will be separated for a year, but will be living in the same house since we can't afford for one of us to move out yet. We haven't told the kids yet, I'm worried it will be too confusing for them since we're still in the house. But we won't be able to keep it from them for a year either. I'm hoping he can work with me (and our lawyers) and settle everything without too much fighting.
