Love knows no boundaries
I am married for almost 3years after i bumped into an old crush. His wife of 18+ years passed about 6 months ago and we bumped into each other. We started chatting and visiting one another. Well to get to the bottom line I think I fell inlove with this man. So on Sunday he said that his mother in law found out via his children and they saw that Im married and threatened that if he doesn't end the relationship they will contact my husband. Well I thought of confessing to him anyway..... But now it feels like this man is playing a gamr. Not sure but my gut feeling is just telling me this..... I need a friend to take my mind off him and guide me to healing. Afterall we can't control who we love
Four years ago I thought I had fallen in love with another man, but it turned out to just be infatuation and the excitement of something new and different. For two weeks I spent a lot of time with him behind my man's back, cheated, and felt horrible guilt and numbness about the whole thing. I knew I couldn't actually see myself with this other man, but it was so nice to feel new eyes on me and getting attention I wanted.
It was very difficult to end that side relationship, but I'm so happy I did. My man was hurt for a long time and we had to work very hard to get through it, but we now have the best communication and very strong relationship. We are now married! We all make mistakes and think that maybe something else is out there and better, but there's a reason you married your husband.
Love and relationships are not always in the honeymoon phase. They take communication, effort, a few compromises, and loyalty. It's difficult to stay excited about your husband when an old flame shows up again. But I encourage you to distance yourself from your old crush and share your feelings with your husband. If he's a good man and you guys want to have a healthy relationship, communication is the most important thing.
