Manifesting your ex back? Is it possible?

Hi guys, not sure if this is the right thread to be posting this on. Recently me and my guy broke up, and I want to get him back. I have recently read the book The Secret and I have been looking into manifesting whatever you want in your life. I have read success stories that people have manifested their ex back into their lives and I just want to know peoples thoughts and opinions on this?

Do any of you guys have similar stories you would be willing to share?
