Moving on from a relationship that ended badly.
I got out of a two year relationship in October. My ex wasn't a saint, but he wasn't terrible. The way he broke up with me was terrible though. He broke up with me nearly right after we had sex and he left my house knowing I was in a bad mental state. Two months later, he came back to pick up some stuff he had left behind. He quite bluntly tells me that he had been sleeping with a mutual friend of ours and is now living with her in an apartment not too far from where I live. I told him to get out and I had a breakdown after he left. Thanks to my family and friends, I've been getting over it. Every day that passes gets a little bit easier. Lately though, I've been thinking of all the pain he caused and I saw him drive by my house and it sort was a trigger for me in a way. I have no feelings for him anymore, just anger and the feeling of betrayal. What can do I more to get over this?
Tell yourself that he did you a favor by breaking your heart now rather than later. He is impulsive, immature and unfaithful. Its a good thing that you have not lost too much time with him. Btw, that friend of yours is also at fault here, right???
She possibly is, she means nothing to me though. He moved in with her because he can't afford to live on his own and he linked up with her because she's convenient. She's there and willing to sleep with anyone that isn't her insane ex.
Oh my God. What a disgusting pair! I hope that you can successfully never hear from them again.
@salemsa well, just keep telling yourself that, you deserve better and you will not allow a piece of trash to destroy your happiness in life for an excessive amount of time.
Every day I try to remind myself that I'm more of a decent person he will ever be. Thank you.
Yes. It’s ok to be sad, don’t be too harsh on yourself. Try to do something new, learn new stuff, or workout.. whatever u have interest in or u can force yourself to do. Every little step will help you walk towards better tomorrow
