My boyfriend left me acter 4 years.
He acted fine and welcoming when i met him 2 months before breakup.We were happy the day we last met.All of a sudden he broke up with me.He said he wants to remain friends with me.But as someone who loved him for all these years it's an impossible task for me.We ended on bad terms.He is perfectly fine and trash talking about me.While im depressed and sad.
I’m going through something similar myself right now. It’s a super hard and confusing time! It’s sounds like it was very out the blue for you. If he is trash talking about you to others then although you have spent 4 years with this person, it might be best to hold you head high, ignore the comments he is making about you, and get yourself out there and have a great time! Who knows, down the line you could be friends, but do you really want a friend like that? My boyfriend of 10 years has just cheated on me even though we own a house together, and although 10 years is a long time, I know my worth. We have remained civil through it all. You need to be the bigger and better person, and not react to his harsh words about you- it’s what he wants. I hope you are doing okay, and know you are not alone in all of this- there is always someone to talk to that completely understands ! X
