My fiancé broke up with me after 5 years of relationship
My fiancé broke up with me saying we need to focus on ourselves. And to part ways because he can’t give me what I want and I can’t give him what he wants. He went away to college for 3 months and came back few days before Xmas got a job and everything. I loved him so much wasn’t it enough? He want to travel with his new job and said I couldn’t come with him bc I work in just one city and my job doesn’t allow for travel monthly. To make matters worse he said all this on text didn’t even call or do it in person. I don’t I understand why this happened to me. My family will be so hurt and may blame me when I tell them which is something I am dreading doing I’m so scared. I feel like I have wasted 5 years with someone who didn’t want me. I can’t stop crying I am broken

With experience, I can understand a bit about how you feel after reading those text messages. Once you think you did everything you could to keep the relationship alive, if you still feel there is no hope, you should start thinking about yourself and try to move on.
They are family, they will understand and even if they feel upset for the first few minutes or days they will come back, after all, you are all they have and vice versa ❤️. As they say, if it's meant to be it will be your one way or other. Do what you think is right for you, spend some time, see if it changes, if nothing goes in you want maybe it's not meant to be.
