My husband thinks I’m cheating on him

My husband of 9 years truly believes I’m cheating on him with anyone and every. I have never given him a reason to even think it let alone always accuse me of it. I honestly would never even dream about it. The problem started when I allowed my parents and their 4 kids move in with us they said they needed 6 months and it’s now been 6 years. I know I should have done something about them living here sooner but they have been our daycare for our two kids aswell plus it’s my mom. Someone please help me what do I do

Has he ever cheated on you? Not to start anything that is not happening but usually if one suspects the other it might be because he is cheating. Is he ever gone on long trips to the store or has random meetups with a friend(s) out of the blue? Sorry to be like that but it may be something you may want to prepare yourself to discover. If not thats another issue altogether.

No not that I know of and I really don’t believe he is. I do believe he has either a drinking or drug problem but he will not admit it to me. I mean I have seen him drunk more and more but even drunk the way he acts is nothing like he use to be. It’s like it’s not him in his body anymore

Oh myyyyy thats not good. Maybe you need to put some distance to gain perspective, just separate for the time being because thats not fair to you. Let some air breathe between you both.

He has been gone since last Wednesday night when that all took place. My question is do I just let him be or do I try and talk to him?

Try to talk to him. Communication is key to a successful relationship.

Pray on the situation. I believe in saving marriages and if you still have hope it can work. If he is using drugs you can get him into rehab if he admits to it. I've been married for 9 years as well and I know first hand how in laws can affect your household. How does he feel about your parents?

He use to love my parents tell they moved in and even the first 3 or 4 years he really didn’t mind them here and now it like the have stayed over there welcome time and he is over it. He hasn’t admitted to me about the drugs I can just tell when he is not himself and it’s totally different from when he is drunk. We did go to a couples counseling meeting this past week and I think that may have started to help a little but I was able to get my thoughts out and he didn’t argue when she said that he made a substance problem. So I’m truely praying he can become honest with her and get help

Talk to him. About your parents it is understandable but it is already 6 years for them to move on to a place. Maybe he is not in peace. Your parents are your parents, that is known but you decided to live with him and do a life with him. Your parents should respect that. Maybe he feels that you don't got his back as he feels abandoned explaining why he thinks you might be cheating. Talk to him and listen to what he has to say without judgement as the same you would expect him do with you.
