My story
Me and my girlfriend were together for a about a year now. The last few months weren't so great we has a few fights but everytime it ended up with us makeing up to each other. Well the last few weeks we were mad at each other and she came to me to make up, i turned her down than i went to her than she turned me down. This happend again and again. Untill ultimately we broke up, i had no intentions on breaking up.. Infact i was already plaing to make it up to her. As for now we have been apart for a week and three days ago she found a new guy. A better guy than me sadly, she sais she is fine and happy, shes not mine anymore so dont even try to talk her out of this. I was heartbroken when i heard the news that she has a new man. I feel nervous, anxious all the normal stuff, but just the thought of my girlfriend with another man is a whole different story. I hope people can relate to me. I know that i will move on and find peace but i still miss her. I am confused whether to wait for her or to just leave. This may be a rebound relationship considering the amount of time she moved on but she seems happy, and im not :)

Many people have been where you are now. You aren not the first nor will you be the last.
If it seems like she's happy (and you're okay with that) then let her be. Fair enough, you broke up but didn't mean it but she found someone else. Someone "better" than you. I'm not sure how you judged that but if he is better then logically why would she come back. Not to be mean.
What I mean is, if you say things like that from the get-go, its like you already resign yourself to losing.
But if like you say, she is truly happy and shows no signs of turning down that new relationship, then just be happy for her and move on. Focus on your studies, exercise, work, hobbies, etc.
And when you're ready you can start dating again. Or go for it now, if that is your thing.
Loss and mistakes and regrets are just part of human life. It might hurt but thats just how things are.
All the best.
