So I’ve been married for 4 years, but recently my wife has made friends with this guy who is helping her with her non profit. However it seems like that they have developed a closer friendship. I have expressed my concern over it, and have been told nothing is going on. More recently, she has been spending more time on her phone, lack of physical intimacy, loss of communication, etc. now I have been in therapy for a while dealing with my issues but it feels like they may have developed an emotional attachment. Now we had an argument over it, and I was told she don’t know what she wants to do pertaining to our marriage. I’ve asked if has been or is anything to be worried about but I keep having my jealousy and insecurities thrown in my face.

what should I do?

@Dan255 Feeling emotional attachment after 4 years of marriage looks to me like a normal healthy feeling. Your situation sounds very complicated and stressful. Trying to face uncertainty about the current situation and probably with some fear for the future.

On my bad days, this situation would have taken me to dark places, but it seems that you have managed to keep your mind clear. It maybe doesn't help, but it's impressive.

I can't give you any words of wisdom, since every relationship and personality is different. But the common theme is that being able to discuss freely and openly was supposed to be the most basic skill, but again and again, it seems to be the hardest.

I do hope that you will find the way, and don't hesitate to connect
