i met a guy a year and a half ago and very quickly fell for him spending maybe too much time together getting completely caught up and head over heals. A month and a half in he tell me he actually had a baby on the way and I appreciated the honesty or so I thought. Another 9 months later he came clean and told me he was actually still with his sons mom (we were ALWAYS at my place because of a sitter, him not wanting his son to meet another woman too soon (Blah blah). He hated the mess he had made and loved me and wanted to support the mother and baby and had all these excuses as to why he lied and I was soooo angry but against everything in me, I believed him... we were going to move in together and make everything work while trying to respect his son and sons mother the best we could. I think at this time he was emotionally distraught and acted out and ended up getting arrested, released with conditions the next day and court another 7 months later. At this point, I hit my breaking point and decided I couldn

I am in a relationship in which, I gave a man my body so I could call him my boyfriend. Weve been together for a while and I deeply care for him. We are young and go to parties and sometimes drink too much. A few weeks ago, we were at a party and I got too drunk. I remember saying, Im too drunk to give consent. And yet, he ushered me into a bedroom and threw me down on the bed. At first I was just trying to get him to stop and laughing and saying no. But he wasnt stopping and when I said I cant give consent, he replied, I can give consent for you since were in a relationship. He started getting more aggressive. He wouldnt stop. I didnt want it. I was crying for him to stop. I wanted someone at this party to help. He promised me it would be over soon, and said to just let him do it. I felt like I fell within myself. I am a feminist activist and I was just raped. I feel like a hypocrite for being in an unhealthy relationship. I know its unhealthy, I know its not perfect. I dont know how to feel like myself again. Can my relationship be repaired? I still love him even though he ruined the love I had for myself. Can this be fixed? Can you even be raped in a relationship?

drunk or not, if you say no he should listen. Im sure you love him but you are his victim. You need to communicate with him about his betrayal and walk away. He violated you. I was in love with someone who abused me for 3 1/2 years out of our 4 year relationship and I found myself justifying his actuons and making excuses for him. You both need to face what hes done or I feel you wont heal from this.
