On 3rd divorce with children
I am strugging with accepting that my poor choices are what put me and my children in this situation and ultimately are what is causing pain for my daughter and will re-traumatize her... I are am on my 3rd major life altering breakup and have a child from each relationship (youngest is 9mo this old). I am struggling with acceptance and letting go and where to go from here. How do I to prevent further suffering and damage to my children. I'm struggling with the reality of my live-in boyfriend of 5 yrs (and father of my youngest) wanting out of the relationship and evicting me from the new home we designed together and filing for custody of my daughter. He has not treated me kindly for years and has slowly, now completely, became emotionally and physically detached. I feel abandoned. I feel scared for the future. I feel heartbroken for my little girls (mostly my 7 y/o) who refers to him as her stepdad while he is seemingly discarding her. He has been neglectful and abusive in many ways for years and recently, has become nothing but, he has wanted out of our "relationship" for years but recently told me he wanted to have a baby in hopes it would save us. We are both very unhealthy emotionally and I am going to have to relocate my daughter for (literally) the 9th time I'm her 7 yrs of life. Her father and my previous fiancé had an extremely high conflict custody battle where I suffered the loss of my daughter at only 4 yrs old and have complex traum
