Panic attacks and depression
My ex broke up with me in June last year on good terms. I tried to maintain that. However, throughout the relationship and even after. I have been listening to her bestie(used to be a good friend of mine, ill name her A) tell me about things my ex never told me, like meeting up with her ex flings but telling me it was to meet up with A's childhood friend. Things like this that i had to keep mum about because A refused to let me ask my ex(through the relationship) about it. And i didnt really want to destroy their friendship of 20 years. When my ex ended the relationship, she said the honeymoon period was over and to ask us to remain friends. I told A about it. But A said that my ex actually said how boring and demanding i was in the relationship. I went into depression and suffered from panic attacks very soon after which landed me in the hospital at the end of last year from a severe panic attack that ended in pseudoseizures. With A updating me about my exes life, it brought me to further distress to know my ex got married to another 6months after the breakup. I have since removed my ex(plus her friends) and A from my social media. Was it really worth it to go through all the panic attacks(i have officially healed from it after visiting the counsellor). I used to be so confident with myself, now i am nothing like that anymore. I promised i would stay friends because that was what my ex wanted, but is it really worth going back to a friendship like that.
