Scared to come out?
My gf and I have been together for 8 months. I am the first girl she has ever been with. She is 23 and I am 21. The last serious relationship I was in was when I was 16 years old. I decided to take a chance on this girl knowing she was straight before I met her. She said she is only attracted to me and would not get with another girl besides me. Recently I deleted all my social media due to drama and to avoid future problems with my gf. I figured she would do the same but she didn't. It bothers me because all the pictures she has posted of us, my face is either covered with an emoji symbol or you can't really see my face. She said she doesn't care who knows about me and isn't embarrassed of me but why do her actions say otherwise?
It's possible that maybe she is worried what her friends and family will say about her dating you.
She should be proud that she has such a beautiful and amazing girlfriend.
While she might say she doesn't care who knows about you two, maybe she is afraid to tell the world about it on a subconcious level. Maybe if you just have an open and honest conversation with her about it, maybe you two can figure it out.
