To be divorced...

Hey guys!

Soooo I met with a lawyer yesterday and hired him to get me officially divorced. Paid my retainer fee and papers will be drawn early next week.

My ex and I have been separated for years, he moved away. And share two children together, that he has yet to financially support.

I'm done with the lies, empty promises, disrespect, and my children deserve SO much more than this.

I've always had this little glimmer of hope that he would come to his senses and realize what he's lost... but no.

I've been crying for days... I'm terrified of his reaction, but more so what a judge is going to decide. I want full custody and child support... would a judge in their right mind not think I have a case?

Please talk me down from this anxiety I'm currently experiencing.
