What does it mean to have truly love someone?
How do you know you truly love someone even after all the hurt they have brought to you? I Iosted about my ex-boyfriend awhile ago (we been together for 8 years) and I had great talk with a person I met on here and it really got me thinking. When you finally let them go and be happy with whatever they want to do even though it's not with you do you truly love them? Or have I accepted moving on? I still think about him every single night and I cry about him every single night and I can't take it anymore, I want to be happy but I have to accept reality that he rather be with someone new.
P.S I got to say I love how this community is very friendly and helpful to others you guys are the best ❤️
Hey there, @Sarunary
Thank you for sharing what's on your mind with us! We are always here to support you at 7 Cups. I'm sorry to hear about your ex. It can be really hard to process a break up and work towards moving on in your seperate lives.
It's okay to continue thinking about the person for a while. After all, you were in a relationship for a long time and have shared and lived through many parts of your lives together.
It can be hard to accept this new reality without him, and it does take time, but we are always here to support you at 7 Cups!
To answer your question, I feel that is a very personal decision that varies from person to person. Some people let go because they do love the person and just simply want what's best for them even if means that their paths are no longer crossed. Others simply accept that it's not working out and just move on. Either way is completely valid and it up to you individually. It's okay to take time to think through through and process it all to decide how you feel about it. We are here for you!
