What to do now?

October 10th, 2016

Hello all, I'm 7 days into divorce and I feel worse than when I found out she cheated which led to our divorce. Everyone around me says how lucky I am for discovering the affair, leaving the marriage with the house in my name, our 3 kids who live with me indefinatelty and not paying a dime for alimony despite being married for 14+ years. Why dont I feel so luck? For starters, I was betrayed by the one person I trusted, my best friend, my only friend, my life partner, my former wife. She has changed to someone I cannot respect nor look at. I mean it she completey did a 360. All for a lust connection. How do you walk away from a life built and worked on for all these years. She never told me how much she resented me or hated me until it was too late. Now I am sitting here with constant bouts of doubts, low self esteem and utter fear for what might be. My children are rocks and I love to them death but even that hasn't stopped me from having thoughts of no more. I miss her so much despite hating what she did and who she is. I got alot of advice over the last couple months but I'm struggling to cope and even manage my day to day. I have no friends and my family is tired of my depression. I work, come home and take care of my kids. I have no hobbies and my passion was her. I lived to love her and now she is gone. I'm trying to stay positive and strong. Building a better relationship with my kids. I don't know anymore and yes said my kids. I know they are hers too. Support welcomed

@anonlife first of all sorry for your situation divorce can be hard especially if you still love that person. How do I know I see it to the people that I have that has been through it.

I'm happy to know your kids are very important to you. Please don't give up and please know that we are here to help you.
