What to do when having a break?
Me and my gf have had a hard time for months. Last week we agreed this is killing us and we are now having a break. We did not set a date or talked about when we will talk. Maybe when we both are ready.
I Have been talking to by friends A LOT and realised I have already find some peace in my head about breaking up.
Is it ok that I process break up before we have really broken up? I think I am going ahead of things but that is only way that seems possible right now.

I think it is healthy to "try out" the idea of being broken up even if you're not. Maybe that will give you a better perspective on the good and bad things about your relationship, what you can change about yourself or what you need to see change in your partner for you to resume the relationship.
I've done a lot of reading on this kind of stuff (currently separated from my husband), and relationships often fall into patterns of codependency. He's preoccupied, so you become needy and clingy, which drives him away, which causes you to be needy...etc. Neither of you end up acting the way you really want to be. A break (or break up) can be a huge opportunity for personal growth if you can really look at the things you did and how you'd want to do things differently.
