Why?

Last month me and my gf broke up, she won't explain fully why, we've been friends since and we're so close I've got confused in what that was so questioned her and she said were only friends, but I then questioned her why are we spending more time together as friends then we did in our relationship, and we must both want to be around each other so why can't we give it another go, she then turned around and said we shouldn't be friends anymore. I asked why? She said because its not going to be more and we can't be more because she doesn't want to, she l says there isn't a reason why she don't want to and doesn't see that she must enjoy being with me otherwise we wouldn't spend so much time together. Now she's not talking to me pretty much at all. I can't cope with not knowing a real reason, I can't cope with not talking to her or seeing her even as a friend because we really was best friends

Hi! I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It sounds like you’re a really great friend. Losing a partner is so hard but losing your best friend at the same time is devastating. I’m going through something like this too, but I’m writing in my journal daily and finding new active hobbies that keep me occupied. Give her space. I do believe time heals all and you will find someone who wants to be around you all the time soon. Keep your head up and write down some things you’re grateful for in your life :) best of luck!

Thank you, I hope you are ok and writing stuff down sounds good so I will give it a go. I'm gonna try to give her space too but I find it so hard because I know she enjoyed doing everything together too, I just don't like not knowing why she doesn't want that anymore even though she's told me she enjoys talking to me and going places

You want to hear something funny? I broke up with my boyfriend a few weeks ago for him. He has been really depressed and I believe thought of our relationship as too much of a safety blanket. It was so hard because I didn’t want to be without him, but I did it so he could be forced to find his happiness without me again. In the meantime, I have been waking up late, crying every few hours, and just generally so low. But I have been forced to look for my own happiness as well, and I think my energy and curiosity about life has gone up. Such a weird thing about energy, TWO of my ex boyfriends have reached out to me this week. It’s such a weird thing that happens naturally when your energy is harnessed. I’ve never been into the woo woo stuff, but I do really feel if you start to enjoy being by yourself, your energy is somehow contagious, even if you’re not in front of someone. It’s like telepathically people who used to love me remembered. Not that I’m going back to them, I’m still very much in love, but I am trying to move on because I just have a feeling this one is going to need more time apart. And if it doesn’t work out after time, I will be okay. And so will you!

Wow! Like I believe in having some kind of energy and being connected to people like that, I never thought of it being in that way before when people are connected to you when your feeling good and now thinking of it I've had a few things happen like that to me in the past when I had the positive energy. On an update my end, me and my ex havnt stopped messaging or speaking on the phone for ages since we broke up but the last 28hours or something about that I've sent her messages but she has shut me out completely now, I am struggling because of my love for her I don't want to lose contact

It’s hard to hear, but letting go now will make it easier in the long run, and stopping contact on your initial end with her may also make you more attractive to her. We all want something we can’t easily have. Definitely keep reminding yourself you can be happy without her. And reach out to your friends! They’ve helped me so much during this time.

We both are finding it hard, I seen her and she asked me to go to hers, then I spend 3 days there and she said we can't keep spending this time together but want to just enjoy it while we can, she explained our relationship got way too serious for her and she really didn't like that, she's not use to that and thats why she can't be with me because she knows I want a serious relationship , but now I don't know what I want because I know I like her so much, but what is a non serious relationship? And I still don't think she will want a non serious relationship with me because it will probably end up serious again
