Will COVID-19 end my relationship?

To begin, I have been with my partner for nearly 5 years now. We met through mutual friends and quickly struck up a magical romance. Being polar opposites in terms of personality has certainly made our relationship challenging resulting in many ups and downs over the years. Despite all the hardship, we have been persistent and took the necessary steps to better ourselves for each other.

About a year ago, we pursued a cross country move. It was probably the most intimidating thing I've ever done because it was significant commitment and we both were forfeiting our immediate support systems. While the transition has been challenging, the real problems began with the mandatory quarantining as a result of COVID-19. Prior to this pandemic, we had our own separate lives and space. Whereas now we are confined to our small 1 bedroom apartment. Being home together has brought to light the existing weaknesses of our relationship. We have attempted to provide each other some space but it seems nearly impossible. Being so, I am emotionally drained and pushed to my absolute limit with this relationship. We are constantly fighting and with argument things seem to be escalating. In light of all this, I have developed a sense of newfound clarity. Prior to COVID-19, my life was so busy and I was preoccupied with everything but my relationship. However, now that life has slowed down I can truly unpack the shortcomings in realizing my needs are not being met by partner.

I am wondering how much of my overwhelming feelings to leave the relationship are fueled by the present circumstances? Is anyone else experiencing this?
