mental health vs relationship..
I'm suffering with bad mental health and it started to affect my relationship, two nights ago my boyfriend called me and we talked but he hung up, I didn't know his signal was bad I thought he just hung up. I tried calling back twice no answer so I just went to bed and said "Gn ily!" I set a bed time alarm and i actually went to bed early to try better myself. Forgot it mutes my calls and messages, I fell asleep fast. He called me dozen of times, the next day he was mad at me for it, and I felt really guilty about it. I honestly forgot what he was yelling at me but I remember a bit where he said "I have to yell at you to take care of yourself! To give me attention! To love me!" I can't blame him. I've been lacking with love towards him, and affection. Trust me I really do love this man with all my heart but for a couple months life seems so boring and useless to me. With all that yelling I started to cry and break down, I was a mess. Impulsively I got mad at the end and called him a name & left. Texted saying "fine, let's be friends. I'm breaking up with you to better my mental health." However through out it he started to say his heart hurts, he's going to the hospital, saying I was his last hope, he said "if I die, you'll finally see how much I loved you." he also mentioned I never understood him once or could handle him. maybe he was right, I knew I wasn't the best but I tried. I really did and still do truly love him. I do really miss him. Idk what to do anymore. I feel more lost

It sounds like this man really loves you. I believe that we should only be good to other people and not bring them down. Everyone has issues to deal with. I am sure you have a better life than many people who live in much worse countries and have seen and experienced horrific things that I cannot even mention. You should be grateful for what you have, there are government programs to assist you if you need a job or social assistance or whatever has you in bad situation. Feeling sorry for yourself and letting that ruin a good relationship is only making things worse. Pick yourself up, get active, get outside, tidy up your living space, eat healthy, feel good about yourself. Doing these things will instill pride in yourself that others will see and it will bring positive energy and people to you.
