Assuming that there is a (paper) box of popcorn and one piece of candy:
Popcorn is healthier - According to my own study, a pack of organic corn cooked and pop is probably healthier than an artificial candy that may cause cavities and tooth decay.
Popcorn is eco-friendly - The packaging of popcorn is mostly made out of paper bag or paper box while the candy packaging is mostly made of plastic which can harm the environment.
Popcorn is many - While candy can be much sweeter than popcorn, popcorn is much greater in quantities (Strength in Numbers) hence popcorn is better.
According to my popcorn evaluation equation or simply called as PEE, the quality of a given pack of popcorn is equal to the volume (amount) times flavor squared , thus:
Popcorn Quality= volume*flavor^2
