Depends on the brands of either. I have had garbage and gourmet in both. I have even made both. When it comes to eating, I prefer popcorn. When it comes to cooking, I prefer candy. I can eat popcorn everyday, jazz it up sometimes, and put in different flavors. Candy is a much harder and intricate process to create. You need special tools and a steady knowledge. There is accomplishment and self respect for finishing a batch because sugar is much more demanding and fickle to work with. When I see that I have gotten it right, I want to share it with the world since I am unable to truly eat it myself everyday due to being diabetic.
They are different types of appreciation. One feeds my everyday life, one feeds my sense of purpose. In the end, popcorn wins because it will always be there for me because sugar is bad for my health. I can always have a little sugar with my popcorn if I need it, but candy's essence is sugar. I adore making candy, though. It brings the world together sometimes.
All thid candy vs popcorn made me crave for a movie...at the cinema proper...
Love a good candy, but I have been craving popcorn lately. Both are Great!
