Make the 1st Move?

Hi guys! This is my first post and I wanted some outside opinions. The more the merrier.

Well, I fell in love with this guy in a short period of time. I didn't expect myself to fall for him, seeing how I just got out of a relationship shortly before. We decided to not have anything serious as he too was on the same position. Be each other's rebound one may say.

Well...I caught feelings...DUN DUN DUNNNN!!!! He wasn't emotionally able to reciprocate. Long story short, I ended up moving to another state, so we have no other reason to see each other anymore. Fast forward a few months later and I'm still hooked on this guy. I'm able to forget about most other guys in a heartbeat, but this one I just can't let go.

My question is this: should I even bother contacting him again? We're both from Hispanic cultures and usually the guy is supposed to make a move if he's interested (according to Latino culture) I'm worried that I'll come off as desperate and not worth his time if I try to talk to him again. Idk how to handle the rejection if he does.

Is it even worth my time to contact him, or should I just bite my tongue and hope to find another like him?
