One thing that made me smile today is ...

Person I work with called in sick and didnt come in for few days which is long and I had to take over on my own. She made sure to text me everything I needed for those absent days and I was feeling like I wasnt the best at what I was doing even though I knew I was working my hardest. I did my best probably better than someone would expect. She had texted me just how she appreciated everything I had done and will be returning. And as simple as it was it warmed my heart to have that validated appreciation on my efforts. I feel good 😊

I made my parents laugh - Septagenarian and Octagenarian; Mom and Dad respectively.

I've been trying to teach my 2 year old nephew how to say my name... and he learned how to say my dogs name instead hahaha

Listening to a podcast with my brother.

I saw a puppy who stays close to his owner showing that he loves his owner and wanting his owner to give him affection too

......a road worker called out to me as I was heading to a counseling appointment and I had no idea what he wanted.. I walked back to the sidewalk and he went over to a pile along the ground and picked up what looked like dead branches..

...when he got closer I realized they were all fuzzy and grey at the end.. pussywillows! he said "Care for a piece of spring?"

I smiled and my appt was cancelled because my clinician was ill, but I left them with the receptionists desk
