What is one thing that made you smile today?
I was walking to the break room at work and I have a habit of looking down the each aisle I pass as I go. I stopped when I caught a senior couple giggling and kissing each other in the middle of the aisle. I just smiled immediately. They were behaving like teenage lovers trying not to get caught making it it was so sweet and no it wasn't heavy PDA but little pecks. They looked to be around 70+ yrs old but I was like yep I want that. I wanna grow old like that with my husband. It was very uplifting and just reassuring that despite these crazy times there are some couples who still do believe in true love and in till death do us part. It gave and gives me hope that maybe, Lord willing, my husband and I will get there too.

aww, I loved reading this. Thank you for sharing. It made me smile. I also like to see someone who is elderly really enjoying a piece of dessert right after dinner. It's like something so simple, and is making them smile. It makes me feel like they're kind of being a child again, and just being happy!

I know this is really, really shallow and maybe even stupid, but I found a shop that carries the phone case that I used for my old phone that is compatible with my new phone! 😄 I

Really hard to remember whether anything made me smile meaningfully at all... I feel so empty. I think whatever number of times I smiled n no matter how much, I made myself smile.

I think I know what you mean. I smile too but the smiles that have the joy attached are the ones that really count and sometimes there are too few.
