Would you rather be loved or feared?

I would definately rather be loved. If I was feared than all the attention I would get would be negative, and how would that help me?

loved for sure-- never want to be feared -- but this seems like a question for generals and warlords :D

I would rather be loved. I've been feared and hated for most of my life and it's not fun. What's weird is that I've never done anything to elicit those responses from people, but I'm a high-functioning autistic and have social awkwardness that might explain some of it.

I think what I want most is to be truly loved by someone. Not necessarily romantically, but rather a love that comes from family or friends.

I would rather be loved. I've been feared before, and I never want to feel that way again.
