Would you rather be loved or feared?

I would rather be loved. It is my belief that all anybody wants in this life is to be loved. If more people felt loved by their family and friends, then I feel like a lot of the negative things that happen in the world would cease to exist. It all starts with love in my opinion.

I would rather be loved. I dont understand why someone would want others to feel intimidated, unsafe or less than just by being around them.

I don't care whether it is fear or love that others feel inside them because its their emotions and I have nothing to do with those. All I want is to be treated with respect.

@mountainAsh5559 I agree that we should get respectfull behaviour from our interactions with others. I do not think you understand the importance of other's feelings and those feelings will dictate their actions. We are a community individuals nowadays and seem to have forgotten that individual includes the word divisible.

@RealityCzech

Yes I very much don't understand the importance of others' feelings. I treat people like machines and it's difficult to wrap my mind around the idea that my actions could affect someone else, so I focus on what I can get from people rather than how they feel.

It's cool that you replied to my comment because I'm trying to learn how other people are more than machines.

I think about your reply again and come to the conclusion that the importance of other people's emotions does not matter. What is important to you, does not have to be important to me. What matters is that I respect the fact that someone else's emotions are important to them, and treat them as such.

When I treat others and their experiences with respect, I give them the space they need to deal with their emotions and thus can expect my own existence to be respected.

I maybe get what you mean and get how I could give more significance to other people's existence to get what I need to survive. So maybe that creates a place where everyone can survive.
