Being left alone
My husband works 50+ hour weeks with a very stressful job.About 6 months ago I started realising we were falling apart and I had depression again.Anyway I spilled all my problems to him and thought we were on the mend. Due to childhood horrors I have a problem with being alone thus him working so much I'm alone a lot which I can deal with most of the time but today he told me he's going away for work, when I suggested I came along at no hassle or expense to him he began making excuses. He said the hotel would be more expensive with 2 than 1 (which it's not) he continued to say it's pointless me coming too and it's a waste of time.Im very lonely and struggling with depression I thought getting away for a bit with the one I love may make life slightly easier but he's making me feel like I asked something awful. He knows I struggle being alone but he won't take me to make me happy.
I can totally sympathize with you. My boyfriend knows I don't like to be alone for very long either. I especially don't like to sleep alone and he will often use it against me when he's upset. Like he'll passive-agressively let me sleep alone to let me know something is wrong or to punish me for something. Is there anything you do to cope with having to spend all this time to yourself?
