I guess it depends on the intimacy level you have with someone. There are a lot of factors that go into full honest disclosure. I would say keep things private until trust and intimacy have been established.

Then I would say you have all that pretty established... but maybe not... years together doesnt always signify comfort level for sharing. It takes a lot to open up to someone. While you SHOULD have full honest disclosure with this person, it doesnt mean it is right for you.... Does that make sense?
