How do I tell dad not to remarry?

Our parents have been separated ever since I was still young. It has been 14 years since then and it is true that both my mom and dad have been seeing other people. In fact, my mom got married again after five years of separation, this time with a foreign man. Dad, on the other hand, have just been casually dating. It was a problem at first because he brings his girlfriends at home but we just adjusted to it. We never actually thought he would ever want to get married again since his separation with mom because he was only into casual dating. I also don

@jeckygeek

People generally either casual date when they want company, but are not ready for a relatipnship, or when they have just not met that 'right' person.

Just because your father has never been serious since the divorce doesn't mean he wouldn't at some point either become ready, or meet the person the would like to marry.

Honestly, it is his life to do with as he wishes. He is a person, not just your father. he has his own needs and he has the right to fulfil them, regardless of whether you believe it to be a mistake or not.

If you have an actual reason to tell him not to (example you suspect she is using him etc) then by all means voice your concerns. But if your only reason is that in your opinion she is too young, but she treats him well and makes him happy, well that is the only thing which should matter.

If he is happy with her, allow him the right to make his own choices
