Is it possible to love someone who is broken..?

(I'm broken and I'm scared that if I can't get over my anxiety that quickly I'd likely be alone forever.)

Tell me your thoughts.

@sparklyseaweed

I thought so, twice. I still do, though it may not mean much in my case.

Of course it's possible to love them. The question is can you handle the negatives that come with it? Can you be strong enough for both of you when needed? And can you do all of this without being sucked into the broken with them?

Sorry. Didn't finish before I posted. As a person who loves someone who is broken with all of my heart, those are questions that I have to ask and answer of myself. Being broken doesn't mean you aren't lovable. BUT what would kill my love for him would be an unwillingness to try. The one thing that keeps me coming back to this person is that he tries with all of his might. Sometimes he hits it out of the park, sometimes he doesn't. But he doesn't give up. And I think if you are trying to manage your anxiety and you are trying to put that persons needs ahead of your own at least an equal amount of time then you can be loved by someone who doesn't turn and run at the first sight of trouble. But when you do find that person, be grateful you found them. Don't push them away every chance you get. TRY to trust that they want the best for you.

I'm pretty sure that there is no one on this planet who is unbroken. And there is plenty of love going on. So, I would think the answer is yes. ;)
