My BF lives in Cali and I'm in Michigan. I've never felt the need to know where he was 24/7. Without trust you have nothing.

Well then i guess it was lack of trust which got us.
Lots of verbal (not text) communication because long distance relationships can really make you needy and texting doesnt always allow for a more personal means of communication. A lot of patience, dedication, time, and trust. Trust is the number one because you dont want to run yourself crazy thinking hes doing something he shouldnt be doing while youre miles away. Trust and believe without trust and honesty (HONESTY) it will fail every time.
