Im 21 and I was with my current girlfriend for 2 years and we broke up for about a month and are back together. While we were broken up she got with another guy that she said she only had lust for but cut off because she was still in love with me and weve been working on things since. Im madly in love with her still but Im trying to not get too attached again. Since we broke up Ive noticed a bunch of guys in her DMs on Instagram. She is very beautiful and since we broke up hasnt posted pictures of us so I understand why they would DM her. I snooped through her phone the other night (which i know is wrong) because I do have some trust issues at the moment because of the other guy she was with within that short amount of time after we broke up. I noticed multiple guys in her DMs and one she even gave her Snapchat to. We only officially started dating again yesterday but we have been living together for the past 2 weeks working on stuff so we pretty much have been together just not officially. It bothers me that she entertains these guys on there am I wrong to feel a little betrayed and worried she will run off again?

@Pcbmason

I can relate to you buddy. I rekindled the relationship with my ex after she had already gotten into several other relationships while I was out of the picture. She used to be mostly faithful and true when we first got together, but after we gave our relationship another shot she pretty much gave no sh*ts whatsoever. She not only entertained people who were fawning after her, but actively engaged in "activities" with them (be it a kiss or something more). She only vaguely hid some of those things from me, and even blatantly told me of many "incidents" as if it was funny. She knew I wouldn't run off because of submissive attitude and low self-esteem. But let's just say she was wrong. It hurt horribly, but in the end I put my own worth over her mockingly unfaithful behavior and left her for good.

Now I'm not telling you to break up, it's not my place and I don't know enough about the situation, but I'm most definitely telling you that you're worth more than being treated this disposable. She should consider herself lucky to have another chance with someone as admiring and loving as you 💕

And about confronting her; Insist on your right to be treated with honesty and respect from her. You can do this kindly of course, and carefully if you're not sure about what she might be doing yet, but don't be afraid to start an adult conversation about it. You can admit to her that you're still insecure about whether or not she actually plans to stay with you, and if she's a grown up about it she will see that that's a normal fear to have after getting back together like this.
