And though he is one of my favorite authors and I love all his quotes, I disagree with this one.
Sometimes when people matter, they fit their place perfectly, no matter how long they were gone.
Let?s look at it this way.
Suppose you have a jigsaw puzzle and you lose one of the pieces.
What do you do?
Do you replace it with another piece?
No you don?t.
You look for that lost piece.
You look everywhere you can, you do everything possible to get it back.
But you don?t replace it, do you?
Why?
Cause no matter how hard you try, no other piece is ever gonna fit that place perfectly.
That?s the thing with people too.
You know it when that happens.
Sometimes people come into your life and you know,

you just know that you?ll never be able to replace them if they left.
