Hi! Well, I would say that I am in love, and my favorite thing is the feeling I get then we smile or laugh together, and it's this weird but beautiful feeling and I just don't know how to describe it. I think this is the first time I have fallen in love. I did find some people nice looking or something like that, but this is the first time I kind of liked how he acts and talks and smiles and just everything.
I don't know, it's just beautiful, but I think I am going to stay at a safe distance in order to not get my heart broken.

You're right, new love is exciting and the plunge can be so frightening! As I've come to grow closer to someone in my personal life rather quickly I realized how much it could ruin me. But at some point you have to decide if it is worth the risk. I hope you continue to find beauty and happiness in your relationship. <3

@blitheSun94 this person who's my boyfriend I fear thinks I'm too insecure because of how I can get sometimes. Like, in the past week, I was doing something terrible. Being too emotional and clingy. I know I should've never done that but those past two weeks, he hasn't liked anything I posted on Facebook. I know it's a bad sign but I can't lose another person.... I didn't like him at first, I know this because he was a new face but so far he showed me what love really is and I don't want to lose that. And I know what you'd say. That's not good in a relationship, make sure the lines of communication are always open, blah blah blah but I cannot help this. I try hard to communicate my feelings, wants, and needs but it's so hard. I actually get to the point where I panic and go ghost for days. Please help if you can.

Sometimes I feel like I don't even matter and I'd be better off dead. When the conversations go to shit, where's the love then? Hell, I can't even get a like from this person anymore if I post something funny on Facebook because of my insecurity issues and letting him see how damaged I really am. God, I wish I could go back in time. At least I wouldn't prove to him that I'm a screw up.
Wow that's a good question, I think I have but maybe to very unhealthy persons , in the beginning was wonderful feeling, but when I learned of the mood swings, I pretty much shut down, I have depression and anxiety, I think I do well when my anxiety isn't out of control, but his mental abuse can put me in deep depression, I have gotten better at not letting his issues affect me. I have always wanted to find someoneto love me unconditionally, but I now know, that is not gonna happen on this earth

i did learn a lot of things, but most importantly is, my heart can't be broken due loving someone
@blitheSun94 When someone loves me, it makes me reflect on why would they love me, in the end I would love myslef more because I find more self love.
@blitheSun94 The feeling when you know there is someone out there right now that is thinking of you. The warmth inside of one when you think about them. And the comfort you feel when you are embraced by them :)

It gives me a motivation to wake up every morning :) because I'm excited to see him.
Update: Since this post I have gone through divorce, as well as the motions to reveal and accept my true sexual identity. It has been difficult, yet I enjoy being single for the first time since I was 14 years old.
Do not be discouraged! For being in love is the greatest thing we have. I hope you will continue to share your stories with me.

I have not. I've been in love only once and I hope it stays that way :-)

I would say it's all very bittersweet. It's beautiful but it's not perfect, and I suppose that's what makes it wonderful.
What have you learned about yourself?
I've learnt that you should never compromise who you really are to accomodate someone else in your life. You shouldn't lose yourself in love or in the person you love.
