Am I catastrophizing? Help.
I’ve know my bf for 3 years and been together for almost a year. We are in our mid to late 20s. He seems to block his sister when he’s upset with her until he is not or whatever. I’ve recently gotten on medication(Prozac) for one week before my period as I get really depressed. I haven’t learned or understood how to control my emotions at that state yet, and have been telling my bf that maybe we shouldn’t be together or that he shouldn’t come visit me( we recently became Long distance, and both moved to new states with no family or friends), but after this storm passes I am all good and never say anything like that. He has been patient but he blew up on me and expressed how hurt he felt and he said that it’s so much hurt and painful and he needs a few hours to not be in that mind-frame and gather his peace, so he blocked me. But it has been 3 weeks, and I haven’t heard from him. Just want to note that this is a committed relationship where we had planned the future, etc. i don’t know if I’m going to worst case scenario that he left me or if it’s reality, or did he just decide that he needed more time to figure things out? I need some adult advice, as I am coming up with every worst case scenario I can, but still can’t distinguish if it’s my anxiety or real
Also to note: everything was perfectly fine before this argument. Both were affectionate and loving towards each other

Hi NeatCamp. I'm Raúl.
I'm sorry to read about your situation with your bf. It causes a lot of anxiety the ignorance about any situation.
Your feelings are really valid. You don't know if actually you have a bf or not. At the moment, the only thing that you know it is that he blocked you. He needs space, and you need answers...
I think that the time is the only one that have the answer that you are searching... I hope you will be well soon!
