Am I questioning it too much?
Me and my girl have been dating for over two years now. At first we were very close and we still are but lately since school started she’s been a bit distant. I thought maybe it was because her friends are there and she wants to be with them. But it doesn’t seem like that anymore. There’s this guy that she’s been friends with for a while and whenever I’m with her she just goes to him and stops talking to me just to talk to him. I get that they’re friends but it’s an everyday thing she talks to him more than me, they’re very comfortable with each other, and I feel she opens up to him more. Whenever I say hi to her she just says hi back and goes to him. They get so close it feels like they’re almost kissing. She’s always trying to be with him and questioning why he’s not there whenever he isn’t. But she never tries to be with me or wants me to be there. She’s very conservative about her feeling and she gets a little nervous when she sees me around and I get that but it seems like she’d be better off with him. I don’t know what to do.
I would definitely talk to her about it. Express how you feel and hopefully she can respect that. Try not to let your emotions get in the way and say something disrespectful, but come to her calmly and express your concern. I’m in a relationship where my girl and I don’t entertain the opposite gender because we respect each other and don’t like seeing our significant other with someone else. If she can’t see how you feel then it’s definitely time to move on. Make it known that you feel uncomfortable and dont go around the bush about it. Be very direct and clear. If she can’t respect you then you should have that talk with her about you and her next moves. If she’s not willing to show you some type of love & respect that will change the situation then it’s time to move on. I wish you the best of luck brother
