Am i overreacting?

So, this may seem silly but it brought up some old negative feelings. I’ve been having plumbing issues where I stay. It’s gotten so bad where the toilet has overflown numerous times and flooded the entire bathroom. My bf who stays about 10 mins away from me had the GENIUS IDEA that I go use a plastic bag to use the bathroom in. It was his one and only suggestion. Am I wrong for feeling upset that he didn’t even offer for me to come there to use his bathroom? He’s known about this issue allllll day and knows how maintenance haven’t been able to come fix this issue making my toilet useless. I’ve complained to him about my bathroom, maintenance, and how uncomfortable I’ve felt all day and not once did he offer his bathroom up or for me to come there until my plumbing is fixed. When I made a joke about me coming there just to use his bathroom, he immediately said no. I know I’d be quick to offer up my place if he was ever in a situation like this or similar to this. When he temporarily didn’t have AC, I immediately offered my place up to him to crash but when my power temporarily went out and it was dark and hot at my place…..crickets. I feel like I deserve better than having to use the bathroom in a bag especially considering how close he lives. That idea would’ve never popped up in my head, let alone rolled off my tongue if the roles were reversed. We also have been dating for years and have even lived together at one point so it’s not like this is a new relationship or anything. I have acquaintances who would open up their homes in a heartbeat if I told them this but my own bf wouldn’t and that upsets me. I just want him to treat me how I treat him without me having to tell him.

Hello Bunny, I am with you on the feeling you have and no you are not overreacting. You have every right to begin to question his integrity. I think for me this would send up all types of Red Flags. Something just does not smell right. I think your feelings are building you in the right direction. You just need to follow up on how this made you feel. Healthy relationships are giving and taking equally with one another not just one person doing all the giving. How look has he been your bf??????

Picture yourself in this same situation years from now maybe even married, What would that look like of feel like to you?? just asking, something to really think about in my opinion only.

I hope that you are able to talk to him about how this made you feel and see where his thoughts were when he made that rude statement❤️.
