Boyfriend is being distant
I guess distant is saying it mildly. We've had some significant issues which are his fault. He can't deny this. I've agreed to work on things and we did therapy on Monday. Since then all the progress we've made has been thrown out the window. He barely talks to me now and says that I'm suffocating him. To top it off we were recommended to communicate more and I did and he just got ignorant and said.. I've told you how I feel numerous times. Clearly he's not committed to working on this and I need some guidance letting him go. It's so hard.
Hello! I'm sorry to hear you're having a hard time. It is tiring to carry on a relationship if it is one-sided, every healthy relationship is based on reciprocity and on the effort of both to make it work. I guess it really hurts, but it seems to me you know what's best for you. If this person is unwilling to make any effort, there is little that can be done to change it.
