my s/o and I have been in a LDR for almost 2 and a half years now, and lately it seems like he’s constantly trying to sabotage it but doesn’t want to break up. He doesn’t seem to put any effort into anything, constantly missing out on important things in my life, lately i feel like the only time i get any peace of mind in a day is when he’s completely out of my mind. As soon as j remember him i get all sad and depressed. It’s like all this hatred and annoyance is building up inside me towards him, but i just want him to treat me better. I just want to work things out. But is it even right to tell someone to treat you better? I shouldnt have to ask be treated better by someone i love

Everyone deserves respect, and being in a healthy relationship means that both people should care about the others' feelings, in my personal opinion. I think talking about it and trying to figure out why his behaviors have changed is a good idea. Take care, and I wish you all the best.

This situation sounds so frustrating and upsetting for you. I think you're right, we all deserve to be treated with respect, feel heard and get enjoyment out of our relationships. Wanting more doesn't make you a bad person. It sounds like you want things to change as things are currently getting you down. I wish you all the best and hope you find a way to start changing things for the better.
